Just a thought

With all these vampire related TV series, books, and movies coming out (ex: Twilight and Half Moon) I couldn't help but wonder about the "romantic" part of the plot. Vampires are supposed to be creatures of the night that feast on the blood of the living and apparently supposed to be more ghoulish and EVIL than "sexy"...

The way I see it in a nutshell:
Vampires dating Humans = Going on a date with your food

I mean, really, who would go on a date with a hamburger they recently bought from a fast food joint? (ex: Spongebob dating a Krabby Patty in that one episode)
